The Ten of Cups
Start by dipping your toes into the cool pool underneath the waterfall and soon your entire body will be immersed in the healing waters. Pure joy can be soaked up like a sponge when it manifests in this form. Bathing in pure joy can feel intimidating at first. You’re completely naked, vulnerable. You’re out in the open in an idyllic forest setting with the pine scented air tickling your skin. You realize you aren’t alone. The laughter tinkles from the pool, calling you like a chime of a doorbell to your front door. A few tip-toes and you see other naked women splashing and reveling in the waters. They are confident, happy, and, as it turns out, welcoming. They don’t say anything to you, but their smiles say everything. They are your family, they are like you. You are not alone.
In a moment, it is done and you are immersed and frolicking along with your new sisters. You feel incredible. Your body is lighter in the water, moves more serenely. You always thought yourself a clutz, a clod. You didn’t know that you could “go with the flow” so well.
Your cup runneth over. The well from which happiness is drawn is much deeper than that of sorrow and pain. You know that in your deepest self. You feel your heart blossom open and you don’t close your eyes when the happy tears flow. Even if they are mixed with all the sweet, delicious pain that you are releasing. They all run together and you are grateful for that. You don’t want to turn away from this new and wondrous feeling that is transforming your cells, your outlook, smoothing your path.
⭐This is a moment reached and also a way of life being presented to you. Celebrate. Submerge yourself. Feel the buoyancy of your SELF when you acknowledge how far you’ve come and where you are now. This is a turning point. A moment to let live fully, not try and figure out or make happen. That work has been done and has gotten you to this point. Keep this positivity around you as you ride the wave into the next beginning. Smile and be full. Pat yourself on the back. Be grateful for the others on your path that have supported you and even for those that have challenged you. There isn’t a separation. Nothing has been done “to” you, it’s all happened “for” you. It’s a glimmer of what’s there for you if you only allow yourself to revel in it. Take a deep breath and sigh it out with a great big “AHHHHHH”. Move through the rest of your day as if on a raft. Don’t get bogged down in other people’s stories. Stay here for right now. You deserve and have worked for this moment of pure healing joy. Soak it up!
